The Gallery - Week 77 - Colour
My daughter brought home her first art work from Nursery School this week. I was more excited than she was. I congratulated her on her choice of beautiful autumn colours and asked her what it was. She shrugged nonchalantly and said "It's just paint". I guess sometimes you're simply not that inspired!

ReplyDeleteAH, I love this picture! We have so many of the kids' first paintings, I can't bring myself to get rid of them. And you're right, the choice of colours is very inspired, must have been sub-concious!

ReplyDeleteIt's the sort of painting about which art apreciators would find much to discuss. But your daughter's answer is much more honest and refreshing. Love it.
