About Me

My photo
QWERTY Mum
I was born and raised in Slough (as immortalised by Sir John Betjeman and The Office) but now live in Shropshire. I have four grown up daughters from my first marriage (three of whom are also bloggers) and am lucky enough to have had two beautiful, bright and healthy babies in my mid forties - the products of my second (and infinitely happier) marriage. We are a family of vegetarians. I love a good horror movie - Hellraiser probably being my favourite - but I'm also a sucker for a good old sentimental weepy (The Notebook, Mr Holland's Opus). I've loved John Denver since my teens but I'm not really sure why! I run, I cook, I garden, I keep chickens, I knit .... but most of all, I am a mum to my amazing kids.
